Default Home networking

I have a desktop and two laptops all running Windows XP
and networked ok. I can share files and the laptops can
share the broadband and printer connected to the desktop.
I also have a laptop running Windows 98, also networked
and able to share files and the broadband but it is
unable to see the printer attached to the desktop. Is
there something I have to do to allow the 98 laptop to
share the printer attached to the XP desktop?

Make sure that the share name you assigned to the printer on XP isn't
longer than 12 characters. If it is, Windows 98 can't see the
printer.
