FAT32EBD won't run on Win-XP...
I'm trying to repair/re-install Win-98 and need to make the
boot-floppy for setup from the Win-98 CD. The ailing (ex) Win-98 machine gives 'invalid system disk'. So, I'm trying to build a Win-98 setup/boot diskette. The only running Windows computers are Win-XP, and when I try running FAT32EBD mentioned from previous posts, Win-XP won't let it 'write directly to the floppy'. What am I missing? |
