Are you saying the problem occurred when you restored your registry to an
earlier version? What exactly was the procedure that you used, and when exactly in that procedure did the message appear. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Solkeys" wrote in message ... That is when this problem happened. |

Re-installing Windows is not the first option I would have selected for this
problem. Why didn't you just restore the registry, as suggested in the article? What were you doing the FIRST time the message appeared? -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Solkeys" wrote in message ... I tried to reinstall Windows 98SE when it restarted I got this message. Solomon |

I did it but I have other problems and that is why I tried to reinstall
windows to solve my other problems. Solomon "Jeff Richards" wrote in message ... Re-installing Windows is not the first option I would have selected for this problem. In that case, I would recommend that you deal with those other problems
first, and come back to this one when you are sure the machine is working properly and the software is properly installed. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Solkeys" wrote in message ...
