Default Invalid VxD Dynamic Link

I got the following message and would like to know what it means?
"Invalid VxD Dynamic Link call from VWIN32(01)+00000714 to device "0009"
service 1"

Also this message I got when I tried to reinstall WINDOWS 98SE

Are you saying the problem occurred when you restored your registry to an
earlier version? What exactly was the procedure that you used, and when
exactly in that procedure did the message appear.

Re-installing Windows is not the first option I would have selected for this
problem. Why didn't you just restore the registry, as suggested in the
article?

What were you doing the FIRST time the message appeared?

In that case, I would recommend that you deal with those other problems
first, and come back to this one when you are sure the machine is working
properly and the software is properly installed.
