Default windows 98 floppy disk version

You still haven't replied if the laptop can use both a floppy and a cod AT
THE SAME TIME or is only one of them active at the time, e.g. slide floppy
drive out and put cd drive in.

In they are, just boot with the EBD floppy and do what people have said.

If you can get the Win98 folder off the cd copied onto the laptops hard
drive you don't need the cd to install. Just run Setup found within that
folder. I had a laptop with no cd drive once and I used a zip drive to do
that.

no, i have a start up disk. What I need is the FLOPPY DISK VERSION OF

WINDOWS
98 instead. My BIOS settings do not allow for the booting of CDs.
I already have the CD version of Windows 98.
Is there any way to download the OS onto FLOPPY DISKS or can i use my CD
version to transfer it to FLOPPY DISKS?

My Laptop only allows for the use of one drive at a time, and since

windows
won't boot because it's corrupt and won't boot CD's on startup I have to

use
my FLOPPY DRIVE.

If the laptop has both a floppy and a CD drive, go to
http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm and create a Windows
98 boot floppy. Use it to start the laptop, select "Start with CD
support", insert your Windows 98 CD, type "setup" and press
"Enter".
