Default uninstalling win 98

Last night I was reinstalling win98se over the top of itself. I have two
drives in my machine. One with the os and the other for files. When I
reinstalled, it put the new os on my files drive instead of over the top of
the old. Now it only boots to the new drive so I've lost all drivers etc..
How do I go about uninstalling this os off my files drive. I assume once off,
it will reboot back into the old os.

Try re-naming the Windows folder on the files drive. Then re-install
and make sure you select the proper folder and drive. You can
re-name Windows from Dos and also re-install from there by booting
with a Win98 Startup diskette with CDrom support..

Setup may try to install into a C:\Windows.000 or similar folder,
change it to where you want it.

A good way to install Windows is to copy the Win98 folder on the CD
to your hard drive and run Setup from there in Dos. Copy it from
Windows before you re-name the folder. You won't need the CD for the
re-install and anytime Windows needs something from the CD it will
go to the Win98 folder instead.

If you have any problems you can re-name Windows back from Dos.
After things are running well the renamed folder can be deleted.
Give it plenty of time.

I should have said change it to Windows on the drive you want it.
Don't change it to Windows.000 or similar folder.
