Default Thumbnail

I can no longer single click on a picture as I once did to
bring up a small image on the left side to preview before
seing the full screen view. I believe it is called a
thumbnail. Thanks

Hi Fred,

Right-click the folder for which you want to enable the
Thumbnail view, and then click Properties.
Click to select the Enable Thumbnail View check box,
and then click OK.

If the above is already selected:
This can also occur if the file association for the type
of file you are trying to preview has been changed or
damaged by third-party programs.
Go to Doug Knox's web site, click Utility, download and run
"Repair Image Preview and Thumbnail View"

just a quick note to say THANKS!!!!!!! I
downloaded "fix.vbs" as you instructed and waa laa it
cured in a matter of seconds what I've been trying for
hours to do. What a great tool Microsoft Community
Newsgroup is and what a great service people like yourself
graciously perform. Again many many thanks.
