Hi,
I can't view in the thumbnail mode. I tried right
clicking-properties-thumbnail, then going to that folder clicking on View
and mark Thumbnail. It will not show the folder in the thumbnail mode. I
checked the registry HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ "file Type" ShellEx \
{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1} and the key is present.
Please help.
Thanks
AJS

Thanks, but I still can not activate the thumbnail view. I did make sure
that I marked thumbnail in properties, and also in the view option.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
AJS

Hi AJS,

Normally the these steps fix the thumbnail problem.
In fact I haven't seen it fail yet.

Just to recap the steps to review thumbnails:
Right-click the folder for which you want to enable the
Thumbnail view, and then click Properties.
Click to select the Enable Thumbnail View check box,
and then click OK.

What image viewer do you have installed? I know QuickTime
is one that damages the image preview. You may consider
uninstalling any such viewers and rerunning the script.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I did exactly that (the steps you mentioned). Now I have uninstalled Quick
time and ran "fixpix" again. Still no thumbnail. The "Thumbnail" option
shows when I click on "View". But... when choose (by clicking on it) the dot
will not move to the "Thumbnail" option.
I have two identical computers, which have the same programs running. One
will show the other will not. I also tried running "sfc" and no file missing
or corrupted file was detected.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
AJS

Hi,

Try this, create a new folder, move a few images and set the
property checkbox 'enable thumbnail view' to see if things work there.
