Problem installing USB drivers
I have Win 98SE and am trying to install Drivers for a USB Flash Disk.
Product name Rundisk has no support site . The included floppy has the setup.ex and an inf file. I have completed the setup.ex and it tells me drivers are loaded. I DID NOT do anything with the inf file. When the USB Flash is plugged in (the first time) a New Device Wizzrd came up and could not find the proper driver. On a second attempt at the wizzard did not appear at all. I am obviously missing something (or the Floppy is a dud). Can someone direct me to the correct method to instll Drivers ? Is the inf file crucial to Windows finding the driver ? Any help would be great. Bill M. |
