You are not being charged by the word here--how about some details? Is the
laptop dual booted or does it just have W98? Hi
This laptop just runs W98. I can hear the noise of the HDD but its as though it cannot be read from. NTLDR is not a W98 file--have you tried to upgrade to XP or W2K? Did you

Forgot about those NT formatted diskettes with data.
