Default Password Setup so no one can get into the computer @ all

i need help on how to setup a password so that another
person cannot log onto the computer at all. Also so that
when click on cancel it wont log onto the computer at all.

Moving to windows 2000+ would give you more protection, if
that is of high importance it would be worth the cost. You
could also set a password in your bios if it supports a
password but you would have to shut down the pc between uses
for this to be of any use. If you are really just concerned
with protecting you personal data files, there are third party
encryption programs that will provide security on those
files. My guess is that no matter what you do, if someone
wants in bad enough they will get there, but these things
would make it much more difficult. -gm

Click "Security" and then "Prevent Unauthorized Users from accessing your
computer." As an alternative, your BIOS may have password protection for
startup.
