Help please! Re-installing W98 w/o deleting files
Does anyone know how? I am a non-techie but am familiar
with working PC's. I am having difficulty troubleshooting from the C:\ prompt and have been searching sites all night. Is there anyway to get around re-installing? Please adjust your lingo for someone who is not familiar with the technical lingo involved in troubleshooting problems. Thanks in advance. Jess |

You haven't told us what the problems are--how can we help? You can install
W98 over the top of the existing system; however, I find that it quite often doesn't solve anything. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo wrote in message ...
