Default Dlink vs. Win98 (Help request)

I just installed a Dlink Air 520 wireless PCI card in an old Win98 machine.
The device shows up correctly installed in the Device Manager. But, when I
go to the network setup and try to add an adapter, it is not on the list
and can't be found.

I need to add the adapter and then bind the protocols, but I can't add the
adapter.

Please advise!

Thanks,

Luigi
