Default Java Plug-In 1.5.0

1) I keep getting the message 'Java Plug-In is not in installed
properly'.
Everything works OK.
2) Why do I need Java..
3) I've not modified my software in nearly a year.

1. Uninstall and reinstall Java. Get the latest version to reinstall since
the one you have has significant security flaws in it.

2. Some Web sites and applications use Java technology to provide a
seamless, platform-independent method of displaying information and/or
interacting with the user. Google the word Java for more.

3. Sometimes software installations just fail or get damaged by a stray
reboot or program crash.
