All I want is the email address to microsoft's technical
support? Is that so much to ask. I've got a problem with
my computer that I know only they can help with. Why can't
they just out and tell you what the email address is in the
help section of the website? I've refrained from swearing
in this post in hope to get people would reply. If I don't
get that email address im going to be angry, and you won't
like me when I'm angry.

I spoke to Microsoft once through that link, I believe. First, a robot
will speak. Next, it will be... Cherry, perhaps. Tell her I am sorry for
the things I said. CAREFUL what you click in your Inbox, though. Don't
catch the SWEN from her!

Thanks or Good Luck,

Why don't you just describe your problem in this or whatever newsgroup would
be appropriate? Newsgroup help is available, and it will cost you nothing.

AS for Microsoft assistance, go to http://support.microsoft.com/

AFAIK, there is no direct email address, unless it's =

They would prefer that you use this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=3Dfh;[ln];oasoem

Or call:
For anything related to Security (patches, etc.) call (866) PC SAFETY

Else, start at this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=3Dsz;[ln];top

By the way, what "Help section of the website" are you talking about? I =
find no link specifically labelled "Help". Only "Product Support" and =
"Contact Us".

Same thing on trying to register a MS program. You need
to open a Passport account. Which I do not need. Or want.
So I will install it on as many machines as I can. To get
back. This program cost almost $100. I have it on 6
machines now. A $600. lose for MS just because they won't
put out any email addresses in their webpage. And it will
be installed on as many as I can. Pity.

Pure excuses. You want to steal, at least be man enough to say you're =
doing it because you're a thief, not because MS requests you use a =
Passport account. If you knew anything at all about Passport, you =
wouldn't be at all bothered by it.

But no, you're just looking for cheap excuses, like all cowards.

You paid for one license on one machine. That's all. Put it on more =
machines, you're a thief, by any definition of the word. And a coward =
for not admitting it.

All that you said aside, there's still no excuse for demanding one have a
Passport account in order to register software..Mind you, I've never
registered anything in 20+ years of using pc's.

Obviously you've never purchased *anything* online then
for the past "20+ years". You can't do much online these
days without giving over some sort of email address in
return. Anyway it's only a passport account, what's the
big deal? It costs nothing, you create the account use it
for the technical support purposes or whatever then you
cancel it, simple.
