how to find programs that are running in background
I am having trouble with defraging and scanning C drive
because a program is causing them to repeatedly start over the process. I want to find that program and stop it from running. Thank you for your time! |

As recommended in a related newsgroup: ----- Original Message ----- From: Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windowsme.systemtools Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2004 9:21 AM Subject: Defragment ScanDefrag will efficiently run MS or Norton utilities, the log will list all the running programs and Restrictive Mode will make every effort to stop the ones that should not be running. See the ReadMe for more info. http://home.earthlink.net/~bblanton2...efrag/main.htm or http://www.blueorbsoft.com/scandefrag/index.html "curtis" wrote in message ... You could also press CTRL-ALT-DEL once to access the menu of running
programs. "curtis" wrote in message ... I am having trouble with defraging and scanning C drive because a program is causing them to repeatedly start over the process. I want to find that program and stop it from running. Thank you for your time! |
