System Restore
How can I find the "System Checkpoints" screen that the
system automatically creates every 10 hours that Windows is operating or every 24 hrs? When I tried to restore my computer to an earlier time using Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore I got a screen showing a MAY calendar with todays date highlighted and a message "There are currently no restore points available". Is it possible that the automatically created "System Checkpoints" can be found in MS-DOS? If so, how can I find them? I have never performed a manual system restore and I never disabled "system restore" on the "File System Properties"screen. Thank you very much, Jerry Ross |

System Restore
If the calendar shows no checkpoints, then you don't have any - period.
What happens when you attempt to manually create a checkpoint? -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "Jerry Ross" wrote in message ...
