Default bt broadband connection

My neighbour has got a broadband router all connected fine but will not find
the usb ports so will not connect to internet. Is there a way to check usb
ports and or get them running ?

I think you are saying that the PC doesn't see the router or is unable to
connect via its USB interface. If this is correct then you should be aware
that Windows 98 is not very good at USB. Windows 98SE is a lot better. I
suggest you browse the following website to ensure you have covered off all
the relevant areas. http://www.usbman.com/
Scroll down to select articles relevant to your operating system or any
other subject that catches your eye.
