Getting 98SE to work with external USB drive

I'm using 98SE on an old AMD Athlon 1.4Ghz, hard drive is formtted in FAT32
but i do have an external USB drive that is 200gig in size and formatted in
NTFS, if i plug this into 98SE system will i be able to access it or will i
have to apply some kind of patch?

I used to have it working fine in old machinee that had XP Pro SP1 on it and
that OS WAS in FAT32 format as well.

You will almost certainly need W98 drivers from the manufacturer of the
device.

Windows 98 will not recognise a partition formatted as NTFS.

If you can get Windows to see the device then you might be able to get
access to the drive using this:

Thanks for reply Jeff, it's nothing fancy just a normal WD 200GB 3.5 hard
drive that sits in one of those external boxes, that connects to pc via USB2
or firewire (but i always use USB).
