transfer data

How can I transfer my data, ie pictures, works, ect to my
new computer, windows xp from windows 98 first edition.
the flash drive does not work on 1st edition.

Pull out the hard disk put it in the new pc as a secondary drive

Floppy disk. Recordable CD. Direct Cable Connect (there's a Windows98 help
topic on it). Networking (requires a network card in each machine and a
cable).
