Default Windows Explorer Freeze, Control Panel Freeze! Advise?

I have an issue with my Windows Explorer. I recently had
my homepage switched to C:\WINDOWS\secure.html and no
Spyware remover has been able to remove it. Thereafter, I
could not enter the control panel to Add/Remove Programs.
Later that day, my Windows Explorer began to freeze and I
got the "Not Responding" message. Since then I have not
been able to open My Computer or Explore the C: Drive at
all. All of my programs seem to be running fine. Internet
Explorer now has a pop-up add everytime I open it and it
is not something you would want your children to see. What
do you suggest the best thing to do is?

Download, unzip, and run Hijack This from one of these locations:
http://computercops.biz/downloads-cat-14.html
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html
http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads...HijackThis.exe

Unzip to a folder *other than* your Desktop or the Temp folder, double-click
HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Press that, save the log somewhere you can find it (Desktop, My Documents, or
similar).
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.

Copy the log files and paste them into a new post at:
http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30

In your post, please state your problem clearly and what you've done so far to fix
it.

The folks there will tell you what to remove.

See the "housekeeping" they ask you to complete before you post your log:

A tutorial for using Hijack This is located he

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
