Jerky mouse/screen action
I'm using an optical Microsoft Wheelmouse, 4.12 software,
and WinMe. Lately, the pointer gets jerky after I clik on an internet link when I'm online. D/L'ing the data for a new site also seems to get slower as it is transferring data to my screen. Matter-of-fact, the pointer got jerky as I am writing this, plus, the cursor moved slow/jerkily on this email screen.. There seemed no activity altho the process for an incoming email started soon after the jerkiness started. I just d/l the mouse software but that had no effect on the jerky movement. After the d/l'ing is complete, and there seems to be no other activity onscreen, the pointer again gets smooth - as now. Any ideas out there on this...? ps. a musical note just played form the computer - with lots of interruptions so the sound was on and off as it played... |
