NTLDR is missing !! Please help

The first thing to check is that you have not accidentally left a floppy
disk in the floppy drive. If you have, remove it and try restarting the
computer.

Ok,
My sons computer won't boot I keep getting the NTLDR is missing press any
key to restart.

So I go through support on the web and obviously I need a Windows/ME boot
disk.
Well I don't have one and I can't open the cd rom either because of the
problem.

I need a start up disk to get into the system and fix the ntldr file.

If you can help and possibly lead me in the right direction if I have run
astray I would appreciate it.
