Default cd-rom drivers

I'm looking for device drivers for a samsung cd-rom
internal drive (SC-152C) but i can't find them anywhere.
Anyone have any idea as to where i could locate them?
Also I have a Toshiba DVD-ROM (SD-M1212) and when i
searched for drivers for this device on the Toshiba web-
site, it said that all Toshiba DVD-ROM drives will be
recognized by Windows and do not need drivers. I'm a
little skeptical...does this make sense? I thought that
all devices need some sort of driver.

Thanks for you help.

Any drive that connects to a standard IDE cable should be recognized by
Windows with no additional drivers. Windows has drivers for almost all IDE
devices built-in.

To add a thought to Richard's post, about the only time you might need a
specific CDRom driver is if the generic drivers will not work in a floppy
start up disk.
