Default Windows 98 Issues

Hello,

I have a few issues with my Windows 98 operating system.=20
I hope that I chose the right site for this inquiry !!!
----
Here is a bit of technical information about my system=20
and software products:
(I have a Packard Bell system)

Windows 98 4.10.1999=20
(Version 4.72.31.10.0
Cipher Strength: 128-bit
Update Version SP1)
MS-Word 97 SR-2
MS-Excel 97 SR-2
Outlook 97 (8.04.5619)
-----
I have a few error messages:
1- When I suf the internet with Internet exploro, I get=20
an error message like : =CCEXPLORER caused a general=20
protection fault in module KRNL386.exe at 0002:0000432c.

2- When I work with MS-Word and/or MS-Excel, I get the=20
following error message after a certin time: IEXPLORER=20
caused a general protection fault in module KERNEL32.dll=20
at 0002:0000432c.

I read a technical article from Microsoft Q276459 saying=20
that some of this problem could be releated to McAfee=20
antivirus scan or something. However, I did not find any=20
McAfee software on my system.

Is there any patch, download and/or hotfix that can solve=20
this or these problems ?

Regards
