Default LSP conflict - eTrust EZ Antivirus

Don't know if this is the proper ng, but...

I installed version 6.2 of EZ Antivirus, but the e-mail protection feature
will not work because of a supposed LSP conflict with some other program. Of
course I've been trying to get a solution from them, but I'm getting the
runaround - being told to do things that I've already told them that I've
done!

I checked all of the installed programs in Add/Remove, but found nothing
that I didn't know about. Checked for spyware and adware, that's okay. Had
none of the programs on their "problem" list installed. Uninstalled EZ in
Safe mode and reinstalled in Safe mode. All of the things meant to be their
"
solution". No change. BTW, this has been going on for over two weeks now.

Can anyone help, please? Is there a way of knowing which programs use LSP?
What should I do?

Thank you very much.

Franz

Hi Franz,

If there are any McAfee or Norton applications installed,
uninstall all of them and retry the install.

Hi, Bert!

There aren't. Beside, I uninstalled and reinstalled in Safe Mode. Thanks
anyway.

Hi, Steven!

Thanks for getting back to me. I checked to see if I had any of the items
listed that were either parasites or pending. I had nothing.

Any other ideas?

Franz
