Default Highest Adobe Reader with KernelEx

Hi,

I installed KernelEx well over a year ago so I can use a
later version of FireFox (3.6).

I have Adobe Reader V5, but also have Foxit V2.0 Build 1516

Sometimes when I am at a web site and click on a user manual for a
product, Adobe Reader is launched, and once in a while, everything "locks
up". I thought about changing FireFox's Plugin to Foxit (.PDF reader), but
I wondered if there is a later version of Adobe Reader I can install?

I tried Adobe Reader V8, but it is incompatible. Note: I do not have
an Adobe Reader V6-V7.

Any suggestions?

Thank You in advance, John

PS, Where can I download Adobe Reader V6 or V7?
