Tablet machines and W9X?

They definitely still have uses, especially for various machines with serial ports. On a lot of older or smaller stuff, that can be a way to get binary files around. Xmodem will do those, Ymodem I don't know about. Zmodem is nice, it can negotiate file selection from one end, the other just has to be sitting waiting for signals. I think they may also reduce some restrictions on flow control method choices, but I'm not sure of that. |
