Default IE5.5 Kernel32.dll corruption

To All,

What is happening when you have a kernel32.dll problem? It only seems to
appear when I startup IE. IE opens but locks-up. I've uninstalled, via
Norton utilities, and reinstall, but am getting the same results. I've tried
System Restore, but has been unsuccessful to restore any back dates via
WinMe.

Any helps?

HiTekMom
