Default Boot Sequence

When I boot up the sequence is CD; A; C. I would like to delete the Cd Drive
from my boot sequence. How can I do that?

You would have to edit your boot sequence in your BIOS. Accessing your BIOS
varies from one computer to the next, usually you press Delete or F2 while
the computer is starting up. You should see the option in there. Generally
you press Page Down to change the option, but that sometimes changes as
well. How to edit values should be explained somewhere on the screen once
you get into the BIOS.

Make sure you don't edit anything in the BIOS aside from the boot sequence
if you don't know what you're doing.

Thank you Eric,

Somehow bios will not allow a change. This is a coustom-built PC that was
designed to be work station, not a stand alone...which is is now.

Do you know much about hardware? Do you have a manual for the motherboard?
You should be able to set a jumper on the motherboard and reset the BIOS.
As I recall there should also be a battery on the motherboard. If you
disconnect it, that should reset the BIOS.
