Default Clock does not change time when rebooted

My clock does not seem to be "holding" the time after I
have switched off and then next day switch back on. The
clock in the system tray shows the time I switched off at.

Any ideas to problem and solution?
Thanks

Check the time in the BIOS when you boot, if it is wrong you need to =
change the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Check your documentation, =
machine manufacturers support site or motherboard manufacturers support =
site on where the battery is located and how to replace it.
