Auto-reboot on ICS Host
Several mornings a week, about 15 minutes after my wife
cranks up her Win98SE-P4 Internet-Connection Sharing host and dials into our ISP, and well after I connect thru my ICS client, her machine will either freeze with the bluse screen of eath, or, lately, go black and automatically reboot. Usually the rest of the day is trouble free! Fans seem clean, heat seems normal. This is a new phenomenon after a year or more of regular service. I did swap out the modem on the host machine, but the problem continues. Is there a likely connection with the ICS code? chuck |
