Adware - a fake tool bar has appeared that has a search
function - then a few links to a couple porn sites for American Pharma - then it changed to links to kill poppups. I can't get rid of the "toolbar". I right clicked on the tool bar and removed the check mark by it, but every time I exited and went back on line, the tool bar came back. I went to Tools in the top bar and the "toolbar" was not listed. I removed what I thought was the culprit in "add/remove" programs, but it didn't work. I still have the tool bar. Please help me delete this tool bar, and tell me what the problem is. Also, is there an agency I can report this to? Thank you |

Spyware/scumware/adware are causing numerous system problems. I recommend
you download and use the following programs and consider removing everything these programs identify: AdAwa http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ CWShredder: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html (download link near the bottom) Spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/ If you find an agency that cares, let us know. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Spunky150.comcast.net" wrote in message ...
