Gary has put my ScreenShot up at his site........
http://grystmill.com/images/JanesScreen.jpg 712KB

Unfortunately it didnt come out well enough for you to
make out what each item is.
Either way, tis my Screen and I love it.
All of my techy stuff is on the right.
(shortcuts directly to devicemanager, system & etc.
plus heaps of utilities like 4dos)

regards Jane

I have no problem, whatsoever, reading them all, Jane. If you have IE 6,
it has a little deal that shrinks images to fit on your screen. You can
disable that (in IE SettingsAdvanced tabMultimedia section: uncheck
"Enable Automatic Image Resizing), or look for the little popup thingy
at the lower right with arrows going in all four directions that says,
"Expand to original size" when you hover over it.

I just changed my display settings from 800x600 to 1024x768. Then I opened
Mozilla Firefox and clicked on the image and it was all clear.

Well I felt a bit of a Voyeur, at first, however, comments.........

Looked like a "Minestrone" to me, or in Naval parlance "A Dogs breakfast"
but you seem happy with it.
Personally I would have some files under folders on the desktop.

I applaud your use of ACDSee!! Yay! the best graphics viwer IMHO

(PS Did you know, open this "Janes Screen.jpg" in ACDSee
navigate to Plug ins / Adjust levels, and ACDSee will squirt this down
from 712 KB to 225 KB,, much more manageable!!!

I would also like to see a swap of Icons

Ringo Starr under defrag, exchanged for the shark under excel

(Ringo should = excel

LOL!

I used Photoshop, and could easily have made it smaller--just felt that
at 712 KB it wasn't too large and every shrink job takes away a bit of
quality. (OK, call me lazy, g.)

Happy.........I am ELATED with it !!!!
It has taken a long time and a lot of mucking around to get it to
this stage....... the learning curve itself was invaluable.

Ditto......... I have had that same "trial version" for nearly 4 years.
The trial runs out after 3months, and then I just run it again.

Will do better than that Rod, I will send you the YellowSub Icons,
then ya can whack em' where ya like. (he he)
---------------------

I figure this guys. "I" am in charge of the mechanical monster called
'computer', and as such "I" will have it look like I want.
I know Every One of those Icons off by heart, and where each one
leads and where its root is stored...... thats what I call knowing your
comp.
When I buy a car, I will spend 99% of my time behind the dash,
so it is logical that I will buy one that I like to look at.
(drive-in movies excluded)

Glad you all liked it...

regards Jane

Why don't you buy the product? If you keep running it without buying it then
could this be considered stealing? I am not trying to bust your bubble; I
was just making an observation. Have a great night, Jane.

By your own words Dan, my Desktop is 'Clear', very readable and
understandable;
GREAT isnt it!! I'm trying to brush up on Trig too, dont ask
me why, but the desktop helps because I have to look at it everyday.
You should check out a folder on my E:\drive called "Utilities", it is full
to the
brim with widgets & gadgets; a lot of my shortcuts lead there.

regards Jane
