Erika,

Select Open with...

Tick "Always use this program...", scroll down and highlight Registry
Editor.

Click OK, and confirm when asked if you want to add the information to
registry.

After successful action, reboot and test.

Start Run type REGEDIT and press enter.

Post back the results.

Select Open with...

Tick "Always use this program...", scroll down and highlight Regedit.

Click OK, and confirm when asked if you want to add the information to =
registry.

After successful action, reboot and test.

Regedit is not available as a choice.

I had an idea and altered my security settings to low on everything and
tried Windows Update again. It appears to be successful.

You need to browse for and select regedit if it doesn't appear in the
list.
