Win98+MSconfig
Have a small problem, computer running like new, but opening MSconfig- last
tab[startup] gives some entries I want to delete. They refer to a virus I had sometime ago and got rid off. Every time I start up these non existing file cant be found and give a blue screen. Question; what file to edit? Thanks |

Run MSINFO32. Look under Software Environment, Startup group, for the items
listed in the MSCONFIG Startup tab. There is a notation for each that denotes where it's loaded from, e.g., Per User Run or Machine Run. What's the notation for the items you want to get rid of? -- Gary S. Terhune MS-MVP Shell/User www.grystmill.com "win98 fan " wrote in message ...
