Printing XP to 98SE
I've had all sorts of probloems printing from an XP on a home network to a
printer connected to a 98SE. When it prints it is very slow. More often than not, after printing something I have to shut down Word 2002, and reload it before I can print again. Also a whole load of .tmp files pile up whenver the printinf fails. I have noticed that in the Sharing tab of the Printer Properties on the XP there is a warning that when you use different Windows O/S you should have additional printer drivers for each system. I wonder if that is my problem, which I don't know how to solve as the 98SE does not seem to allow me to add a second driver. How can I do it? Thank you |
