Default loosing mouse control

FYI,
just a followup on that mouse problem I was having.
LED in left/right movement reader was failing.
causing intermittant signaling to X-Y controller on mother board..

Go figure....

You did better than I could have........don't think mine has LED's, if it
does, they are well hidden. Sounds like a new mouse is in order.
Heirloom, old and the simplest machine that will
do the job
adequately, is the best.

If its called an optic mouse it has LED's..
either shooting through a little wheel to a photoreader
or bouncing off the main roller ball..

just more wondertronics for the masses.. )

And here I was thinking an 'optical mouse' didn't have any balls......guess
since it IS optical.......maybe they are eyeballs.
Heirloom, old and this needs to stop
