Sth like XP hibernatin for Win98SE AT case ?
Hello, I would like to know, if there is a way to perform an "XP hibernation like" action on older AT case based Win98SE. i.e. Save windows state on hdd, and then quickly reload whil booting, like XP can. -- "Libor the Wanderer" Sorry for my english in case of such troubles. As dialup user I am sorry for late response. ForPrivateResponseRemoveDelAndThisFromAboveAddress . |

No, there is not. Hibernation support in Windows 98 relies on hardware
hibernation support being present in your computer's BIOS - if there is none, then hibernation is not available. -- Richard G. Yes, I know it. In fact I thought some utility doing something like suspend to disk, switch PC OFF, later ON and resume disk savings. I asked for sure, being in doubt that such utility can ever exist. -- "Libor the Wanderer" Sorry for my english in case of such troubles. As dialup user I am sorry for late response. Hi, This utility may do some of the things you are looking for; of course, as Richard G. Harper mentioned, if your OS or hardware doesn't support it, it won't work. PowerOff: http://users.pandora.be/jbosman/applications.html The problem is AT power source. The PC can be in standby mode, or shut down, but power and fans are still on. I would like to have PC switch off for some time.... -- "Libor the Wanderer" Sorry for my english in case of such troubles. As dialup user I am sorry for late response.
