No Shut-Down on Start Menu
Something got into my system. Using Spybot and Ad-Aware I
got rid of it but not before it changed the Start Menu. There is no longer a shut Down command on the Start Menu, just Log-Off. I have to shut off the computer to shut down. When I go back in then I have to wait for a disk scan. Do you have any idea how I can get Shut Down on the Start Menu? I have Windows 98. Thanks. |

No Shut-Down on Start Menu
Not sure how to get it back, but for now, if you
Control/Alt/Delete you can get an option to shut down. Will save you going through a disk scan (which you can get out of by hitting the space bar as soon as it starts). -----Original Message----- Something got into my system. No Shut-Down on Start Menu
Start regedit, expand and hightlight the following keys and look in
the right window for "NoClose". If you find it, delete it. You may have to restart the computer for the change to take effect.
