Default unwanted picture

On start-up, and shut down, an unwanted picture, originally from a web site,
temporarily appears on screen for a short time, then goes away. It started
after I right clicked this image and mistakenly clicked on background. Any
way to correct this? Thanks for any help.

I've had the same problem. Have you found an answer yet?
Thanks for any help.

Sorry. No answer yet. I'd rather not do a System Restore for this, as I

would lose too many updates.

Try this
Open Network Properties, and change the Logon to Windows Network Logon
reboot
At the logon prompt, use ESC to cancel entry to your desktop,
Change the desktop to your preference there, then change the Network Logon
back to Windows Logon.
reboot

See if that does it for you.

The problem of the unwanted picture on start-up and shut down is now

fixed. The answer was, Go to Display Properties either thru control panel,
or right click desktop. The first screen is the background choices. Select
none, then click OK and reboot. When it comes back up, go back to Display
Properties and choose the one you want, then OK. I picked Windows Millenium
like it was originally. The unwanted picture never returned.
Thanks for help received.
