Default cdsetup.exe file missing

I am getting two error messages when I start my computer
with Windows 98 installed. The first is, 'Cannot find the
file cdsetup.exe or one of its components. Make sure the
path and filename are correct and that all libraries are
available. The second is, Could not load or
run 'cdsetup.exe' specified in the win.ini file. Make
sure the file exists on your computer or remove the
reference to it in the win.ini file. How do I correct
this problem? I installed a CD burner and after the
installation I got these two messages on re starting the
computer and ever since. HELP PLEASE!

1. When we get a question like this, we also need
to know whether the PC runs OK after the error
message. We assume yours runs OK.
2. It is easy to guess CDSETUP was part of the
installation process for your CD burner i.e. was
correctly erased when the installation finished.
But WIN.INI (or another startup file) wrote a line
calling this file. All you need to do is
Start / Run / SYSEDIT.EXE
look in WINI for the string CDSETUP
and when you find it type a semicolon ; at the
left end of the line. Then save the file and
reboot.
2b. There are other places this file call may
have been written. Post your results back here.

Click Start Run, type: win.ini and click OK.
See if there is an entry:
run=cdsetup.exe
or
load=cdsetup.exe

If there is, edit the cdsetup.exe portion of the line out, so that it shows:
run=
or
load=

Save the changes and exit.
Re-boot.
