I haven't stuck my head in here much in a LONG time. (Probably a bit over a
year ago.)

So, well, I figured I'd stick my head in and say hi. I don't even have an ME
image in a VM to play with, I suppose I could set one up but I'm lazy.

I'll take this moment in time to remind everyone that Friday is
International Talk Like A Pirate Day.

Anywho... Remember, an appropriately threatened PC is scared and will have
fewer errors meaning you have to kick it less often.

*chuckles* At least there are some people still alive and kicking in here
who don't mind an entirely off-topic post. Now if I could find Noel... I'll
have to drop him an email and see if he's ever going to make it back to this
group as well.

Hello Galen:
Meant to reply sooner, but anyone with a sense of humor is welcome here - I
think, and glad 'to read' your voice. Joan is lucky to be in touch with
Noel.
Would like to know myself if/that he's allright.

Harry.

Noel has disappeared from Usenet. Haven't seen a post from him in a long time :-(

Good to see you back. :-)

Hey Galen!
Nice to read your face........glad you stopped by. Don't be such a
stranger. Most of the 'old gang' is still around, the big difference is
that many are using XPSP3 or Vista shudder. Drop in more often, you are
always welcome.......as is everyone in this NG!!

Noel stayed over with me for a few nights here in London at the end of
July before turning to his lair in n.Wales. I've no idea though when or
if he will return to regular posting as he doesn't have a fixed landline
where he is living. So unless he decides to get one installed regular
posting to Usenet is likely to have to wait until 3G/mobile broadband
access becomes somewhat cheaper than it currently is in the UK.

Thank you Mike.

At least NOW I know he is relatively OK. I was "worried" about him.

Please send him my warmest regards.
