Default IE doesn't work

IE operating under ME. Sometimes launches once after boot, then not at all.
I installed Mozilla and it does the same thing.

Is this a common ME problem?

Thanks

Ken

What error messages do you get?

You may have a virus/spyware hijack

download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling
viruses are not present on your PC
http://download.nai.com/products/mca...rt/stinger.exe

- update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files.

download AdAware SE Personal Edition from www.lavasoftusa.com, install,
update, and run it to remove spyware, adware, and other such nasties from
your system.

Noel responded to this message when I initially posted suggesting that I run
the Stinger program and he inquired about messages.

I ran stinger and it did not fix the problem. I recalled seeing a message,
but could not remember what it said. The message was intermittent and I
didn't associate it with the problem; perhaps it is not associated. It has
to do with "Rundll32". Is this information helpful? IE does run
intermittently, usually once after a reboot.

Thanks,

Ken

Sorry for the unclear response. I did follow through with the antivirus scan
and I did an AdAware scan.
