IE doesn't work
IE operating under ME. Sometimes launches once after boot, then not at all.
I installed Mozilla and it does the same thing. Is this a common ME problem? Thanks Ken |

What error messages do you get?
You may have a virus/spyware hijack download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling viruses are not present on your PC http://download.nai.com/products/mca...rt/stinger.exe - update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files. download AdAware SE Personal Edition from www.lavasoftusa.com, install, update, and run it to remove spyware, adware, and other such nasties from your system. -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2005, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "Ken" none wrote in message ... Noel responded to this message when I initially posted suggesting that I run
the Stinger program and he inquired about messages. I ran stinger and it did not fix the problem. I recalled seeing a message, but could not remember what it said. The message was intermittent and I didn't associate it with the problem; perhaps it is not associated. It has to do with "Rundll32". Is this information helpful? IE does run intermittently, usually once after a reboot. Thanks, Ken "Ken" none wrote in message ... IE operating under ME. Sometimes launches once after boot, then not at all. Sorry for the unclear response. I did follow through with the antivirus scan
and I did an AdAware scan. Ken "Noel Paton" wrote in message ...
