Default blocked file alert

i have been sent an email attachment to unzip however i am
unable to unzip due to a warning notice blocked file alert.

1. could this be the way my computer is set up, i.e.
mcafeee is blocking it.

2. could the file already be blocked before being sent
for some reason

3. is this enough information to assist me or do you need
to know what the zipped files contain. I believe they are
files that will allow me to access some drives.

thanks so much

It's probably viral in nature. Have you scanned the attachment with
McAfee ? If you can't, and it's size is 1MB or less, go here and
have it scanned : http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
Over 1MB, go here :
