I have windows 98se, 600MHz Pentium III Processor, 128SDRam, and 20GB harddrive desktop computer. And windows 2000, 850MHz Pentium III Processor, 256SDRam, and 20GB harddrive Dell C800 Laptop computer. The harddrive on my desktop is getting weak so I want to transfer all of my data, files, applications, etc, almost everything from the desktop to the Laptop. How can I accomplish this feat? Data Transfer
I would think you could accomplish this through a USB
cable connection. But don't know about compatability between 98 and 2000. What is wrong with the PC's HD? Do you still have the 98 OS CD? Have you thought about buying a new HD... downloading an OS on to that and connecting the old HD as a slave to the new one. Then the transfer,of data,to the new HD would be easy. -----Original Message----- Hello Guys: I have windows 98se, 600MHz Pentium III Processor, 128SDRam, and 20GB harddrive desktop computer.
