Boni
I take it that you mean that you've been given an 'MP3 Player' of some
description - which one??

So long as you continue to practice 'Safe Hex', then the addition of another
piece of hardware should make no difference to your PC's stability.

i must have done something wrong......
in installing rio cali 256 mb .
i checked device mgr. rio did not appear under usb. instead it was
elsewhere with a yellow question mark. so i removed it.
in my computer it shows,

capacity 61.8 mb used
free 0 bytes.
in add/remove i did the following
rio manager and rio taxi i deleted.
rio internet update could not be removed.

on the screen of the player it says usb connected...waiting
in files or folders ..i typed rio 30 files appeared 18 rio etc.

Boot to Safe Mode
In Device Mgr, remove all yellow! devices. Also any in Other Devices (may
not be present - improperly installed or conflicting devices may be here)
Reboot to Normal Mode.
WinME should locate and re install necessary drivers for the removed
hardware.

foolproof was to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
