Somehow I deleted or uninstalled all display (active
window) fonts. How do I reinstall them? what is the file
name on the Windows 98 disc?

Thanks! The fonts are installed. Now what do I do so
that some font options appear in Settings-Control Panel-
Display-Appearance. No fonts appear in the Appearance
menu.

Fonts only appear in items that have a font associated with them, from the
drop down list choose icon/menu/anything that has text, and the font panel
should no longer be greyed out. the default item 'desktop' does not have text
associated with it so font types cant be set
