It works
I had the same problem. This is the information I got and
it works for me: Go to StartRun and type in msconfig. Click startup tab. Remove all check marks except for the following: ScranRegistry,TaskMonitor,SystemTray,SSDPSRV,StatM gr. (I didn't have all the above so I left checked as necesseary.) Restart and then try running defrag. After the defrag go back and recheck as necessary and restart. your back in business Paul
