Switch User: IE/OE having eactly same settings!!
Hi there,
I just set up a second user account and was able to personalize this new desktop accordingly (ie. for each account differently). However, Outlook Express displays BOTH the same entries at all the folders and also its address book is identical as in the original account! The same applied initially for the email a/c too, but there I was at least successful in editing it into a new one, without affecting the one already set in the original user account. But if I modify now an entry in the OE address book of user No. 2, it'll automatically also affect the one at user No. 1! Same goes at any OE folders. So how can I get now a virgin, completely independent OE (resp. IE) also for this second user account?? Thanks very much in advance for your help...hopefully (?). Best regards, Philippe Borel |

Switch User: IE/OE having exactly same settings!!
Hi Ron,
Thanks very much for your reply! Yes, I did now create such new identity and it works! However, this new user (No. 2) has now the possibility to switch to "Main Identity" which is...mine (!). So is there then "no way at all" to create a brandnew launching of OE for any new party; ie. also creating such "Main Identity" for each new User Account being registered on this PC?? Mind you: IE is now also identical; hence all users are sharing with each other same history; last sites visited, etc. So same question now as above for OE, if it's not possible to launch IE in a "virgin state" too for any new User Account...
