Ummmm. - you may not have noticed.... but this is a newsgroup supporting WINDOWS users, in a Windows environment.... what use are Linux wallpapers likely to be to such users?? (and yes - I did notice the redirect!.... so that's tough, isn't it? go play in your own sandbox, and leave people who want to interact with the real world to do their thing.) -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2006, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.crashfixpc.com/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's |

Well, Noel, sometimes Mac users show up here and some times Linux users show up here. Everyone is welcome and generally gets some help from the group. just my 2 cents -- Cheers, Kurt |

Dear Noel Paton, "Linux" wallpapers are not just for Linux machines. The are usually ..jpgs that have a variety of artwork that would appeal to many, but are geared towards Linux users. Were you aware that jpgs can be used on Windows machines? Now as far as this group being only for WINDOWS users, I beg to differ. We talk about other freeware besides Windows Freeware here. It is just that Windows is the MAJORITY of the users here, so it has more WINDOWS freeware. What this comment means: "(and yes - I did notice the redirect!.... so that's tough, isn't it? go play in your own sandbox, and leave people who want to interact with the real world to do their thing.)" I am not sure, but we do have Linux users on this board. My wife uses Windows and I use Linux. I look for tools that will help her as well as the few times I need a Windows box at home. Work REQUIRES me to use Windows, so I am comfortable with both, to a degree. Enjoy your day. -- ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ El Gee Www.mistergeek.com Know Christ, Know Peace -- No Christ, No Peace Remove .yourhat to reply ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ |
